AOL Instant Messenger
I like AOL Instant Messenger because it's fast and has a good interface. Buddy chat can be fun, too. The only bad thing is you can't do much with AOL users.

NeoPlanet is a great browser. It's faster thatn Internet Explorer and Netscape Communicator. NeoPlanet also has a good mail client. But, working great doesn't mean it can't look great. With NeoPlanet you can download skins.

PIRCH98 IRC Client
This is a good IRC (Instant Relay Chat) Client. The interface is good on PIRCH, but isn't easy to learn. I think this is better than other programs.

Winamp
This is a pretty good MP3 player. I have been told that Windows Media Player plays just as well as Winamp, but I'm not sure. Anyway, I don't care, I probably don't care just because I am a sucker for pretty graphics.

If you don't have this by now, well you probably don't have much on your computer. This program is essential for PC's. Otherwise, you can't download other stuff on the Internet.

Yahoo! Messenger
Yahoo! Messenger is really good. Messenger has voice chat, instant messaging, e-mail alerts, and file transfer. Plus, the voice chat works. Overall, it's worth the download.
